Fees

 

Deposit is £1000 (refundable if terms and conditions adhered to) 

Registration is £50 (non-refundable)

Baby’s

  • £68 per full day.
  • £40 per Half day (8am to 1pm OR 1pm to 6pm)
  • One month’s full-time fees are £1473.33

Toddlers and Preschool

  • £60 per full day.
  • £36 per Half day (8am to 1pm OR 1pm to 6pm)
  • One month’s full-time fees are £1300

Children that are collected from early late will be charged £1 for every one minute late starting from 6pm. Children that arrive early for Nursery without Parent supervision will also encounter the same charge

 

Charges for Children receiving Funding

 

  • Lunches will be charged at £3 for a full day at Nursery and £2 for a half day.
  • Late/Early charges will also apply
  • A £5 charge will also be added for funded children attending Fridays as we have an extra-curricular Music Teacher attending

Mini Treasures Day Nursery Terms and Conditions

 

DEFINITIONS:  References in these Terms and Conditions to ‘parent’ include those who have parental responsibility such as a parent, guardian, carer or any individua authorised by the parent.

SUPPORTING CHILDREN’S NEEDS:  Mini Treasures Day Nursery provides a service that is compliant with OFSTED’s requirements for the delivery of children’s day care.  Under some circumstances, it may become clear that a child’s needs cannot be met within the nursery.  On these occasions the Nursery Manager may recommend alternative childcare or terminate placement.

PARENT PARTNERSHIP:  Mini Treasures Day Nursery Mini Treasures Day Nursery promotes a principle of parental partnership which is based on mutual respect and an understanding of the different roles and responsibilities of both parents and the nursery.  In order to promote the positive development of a child, parents are required to co-operate and work together with practitioners during the child’s time at the nursery.

STANDARDS: Mini Treasures Day Nursery aim is to provide safe and suitable premises and suitably qualified staff. Mini Treasures Day Nursery Nurseries are registered with OFSTED and complies with the requirements of the Early Years Childcare Register and the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation State.  Mini Treasures Day Nursery certificate of OFSTED registration is displayed at each nursery.

EMERGENCY CLOSURE: Should the nursery need to close due to circumstances beyond the control of Mini Treasures Day Nursery fees shall remain payable.  This is to ensure the sustainability of Mini Treasures Day Nursery, which is dependent on parental fees.  Examples of emergency closure would include. But are not limited to, severe weather conditions, national emergencies or an instruction to close form the local authority, emergency services or a government department.

COLLECTION OF CHILDREN: Written parental permission is required in advance if a child is to be collected by someone other than a known parent.  Anyone under the age of 15 will not be allowed to collect children from the nursery.

CHANGING HOURS:  If a parent wishes to change the number of hours spent at the nursery, they should discuss this request with the Nursery Manager as soon as possible emailing her at minitreasuresnurserymorden@yahoo.com Mini Treasures Day Nursery have discretion over whether to accommodate this request.

SUITABLE CLOTHING: A child should be dressed in hardwearing clothing which can be washed, withstand the nursery day and is appropriate to the weather.  Children should not wear jewellery that may potentially cause harm to themselves or other children. Expensive items (including buggies) are left at the nursery at the discretion of the parent and Mini Treasures Day Nursery will not take responsibility for loss or damage to these items.

DATA PROTECTION ACT 1998:  Mini Treasures Day Nursery will collect personal data during providing childcare services.  Any personal data will only be used by Mini Treasures Day Nursery for the purposes of carrying out its obligations under these Terms and Conditions and will be kept strictly confidential.

COMPLAINTS: Should parents have any concerns or complaints about any matter, they should talk or write to the Nursery Manager in the first instance.  If the complaint relates to the Nursery Manager, the complaint should be sent to Mini Treasures Day Nursery Director.  Any complaints will be dealt with in accordance with the Mini Treasures Day Nursery Complaint Policy which is available on request.

Registration Fee and Deposit

The registration fee of £50 covers. A deposit of £1000 is required at time of booking. The deposit will be refunded by the 20th day of the following month of your child’s leaving date, providing a minimum period of one month’s notice has been given, should one months’ notice not be given the deposit is non refundable

Fees and Invoices

Childcare accounts are payable monthly by direct debit, in advance for a calendar month of childcare. Accounts are payable by direct debit made payable to "Mini Treasures Day Nursery". We also accept childcare vouchers. Invoices will be issued in the week preceding the start of the month and will be due for payment on the 1st of the month. Unless there is a prior arrangement, a charge of £20 will be made for fees outstanding after 5th of the month. Fees may also include late charges (liable should a parent be late collecting their child) Early charges (liable should a parent drop off their child early) a £5 per minute charge will be applied. Children that receive the 30hr funding will be liable for Nursery meals at a payment of £3 per full day or £2 per half day. Any parent or carer whose fees remain unpaid after 5th of the month, without prior agreement of the Nursery Manager, risks their child’s place at the nursery being withdrawn and exclusion will be made immediately until the balance is paid. Any payments that are cancelled or returned from the bank will incur a £25 administration charge, unless we are in breach of these terms and conditions all booked sessions must be paid for regardless of child’s attendance. No refunds are given for sessions missed due to sickness or holidays or unavoidable nursery closure. This includes one week in Christmas when the nursery will be closed as well as all Bank holidays and two inset days. If you expect to be late collecting your child, please notify the nursery as soon as possible. In case of default on payment the nursery reserves the right to apply a £50 administration fee for preparation of court papers and interest will be charged at 8% above the bank’s prevailing base rate. The nursery is not responsible for collection of fees from any third parties except in the case of statutory nursery education funding allowance. The nursery will give parents and carers notice of increase of fees

Free 15hours/30hours government funded

Parents that choose to claim the 15/30hours extended funding, they will need to apply online themselves. Parents will pay for lunches as stated above. Parents will also make a contribution payment for extra curriculum which is £5 currently for music lessons.

Termination, cancellation and change of sessions

One-month notice is required by either party for any change of sessions or termination of agreement. If parents choose to leave prior to the end of their notice, fees are non-refundable. The minimum period for any permanent change of sessions is one month. If the notified start date is changed by the parent, we reserve the right to charge from the original start date notified on the Agreement forms. The nursery reserves the right to terminate the Agreement with immediate effect in case of non-payment of fees, or if a parent, carer or child displays abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour, or for any other reasonable cause. Intimidation or abuse of our staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination. In all other cases the standard notice period of one month will apply.

Insurance

The nursery has extensive insurance cover for nursery-based activities and outings. Details of the insurance may be requested from the nursery manager. The Certificate is displayed in the nursery.

Personal property and belongings

The nursery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any parent’s, carer’s or child’s property or belongings. Every reasonable effort will be made by the nursery staff to ensure that property or belongings of any parent, carer or child is not damaged. Please ensure your child’s clothing is clearly labelled and we suggest that all toys, books and equipment are left at home.

Liability.

The nursery accepts no liability for any losses suffered by parents arising directly or indirectly, as a result of the nursery being temporarily closed or the non-admittance of your child to the nursery for any reason. We accept no responsibility for children whilst in their parent’s care on nursery premises. We will not be liable to parents and/or children for any economic loss of any kind, for damage to the child’s or parent’s property, for any loss resulting from a claim made by any third party or for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind.

Accidents and illness

The nursery reserves the right to administer first aid and any emergency treatment as required. Parents will be informed of all accidents and will be asked to sign an Accident record form. If emergency treatment at hospital is required the nursery will make all reasonable attempts to contact the parents but if this is not possible, we are authorised to act on behalf of the parents and authorise any necessary emergency treatment. We will administer prescribed medicines only if parents have completed a Medicine Consent form. We may require parents to withdraw their child from nursery in the event that they require special medical care or attention which is not available or refused by the parent, or it is considered that the child is not well enough to attend nursery. We may also ask parents to withdraw their child from the nursery if we have reasonable cause to believe that the child is suffering from or has suffered from any communicable disease or infection and there remains a danger that other children may contact such a disease or infection. Please refer to our Health Illness and Emergency Policy regarding exclusion and incubation periods by which we are bound. Parents must inform the nursery if the child is suffering from any illness, sickness or allergies before attending the nursery. The nursery is mindful of the needs of working parents and will endeavour to provide as much continuity of service as possible within the recommendations of the Health Protection Agency by which the nursery is bound.

Photographs and Video

I grant full rights to use any images of my child resulting from photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve Mini Treasures aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If I wish to opt out of this consent, I will send Mini Treasures a written document of my decision to opt out.

Trip and Visits

I grant full rights for my child to attend trip and events, not limited to the local area of Merton. If I wish to opt out of this consent, I will send Mini Treasures a written document of my decision to opt out.

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parents (including other carers) and the nursery. Any other understandings, agreements, warranties, conditions, terms and representations, whether verbal or written, expressed or implied are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. We reserve the right to update / amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. One-month notice will be given of any changes made. The nursery is operated by Mini Treasures Nursery Ltd.
