Latest News!

GOOD NEWS, Mini Treasures is open!

However due to the numerous recommendations in place there will be some changes. On the First of June, Morden staff will be having an inset day that will allow them to prepare the classrooms, you may notice that there will be less sensory activities and that some toys may be stored to prevent cross contamination and easy cleaning.

Parents will also be asked to bring in one bag large of spare cloths for their child which will be left at the nursery, absolutely no food, toys or other personal items from home will be allowed on the premises, Staff will be checking bags to make sure this is adhered to,and parents unable to comply may be asked to take their child home. Children will be collected from the gate maintaining social distancing rules from other parents (signs will be placed to avoid confusion) No parents will be able to enter the building without an appointment booked in advance and we ask that only parents or a designated person collects their child.

From the 2nd June 2020 Mini Treasures will be open from 8am to 4pm, until the 15th June 2020 where normal hours will resume. This is to enable children to settle into their routine and for staff to work safely and allow time for them to immunize while they have been in lock down.

Parents will also be asked to make sure that the children's cloths are changed daily to prevent cross contamination. Staff have also been asked to wear different Jackets/ uniforms each day.

Please be aware that illness may effect your child's attendance, we understand that this is the season for Hayfever and other colds and therefore collecting your child or staying at home may be an inconvenience, however to maintain safety for the Nursery as a whole any child or staff member that develops the following symptoms will need to stay at home until they no longer have symptoms or have been tested for Covid
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

We have all missed the children and we are very thankful to the parents that kept in touch and have sent us pictures of the children's day. They looked like they had an amazing time!

The Nurseries Covid Contingency plan and a Risk assessment is available on request for further information

Thank you for your support and we hope to see you again soon
